Morning by the River

My daily walk takes me along the river - I always paint intuitively from memory so I never really know what will happen in a painting - often when its finished I can look at it and know exactly what and when it was a memory of - this is a damp, bright Autumn morning, in a particular bend of the river with the smell of wet leaves earth mould and the dark clear river rushing by.
